The 13th Continental Regiment’s full day encampment at Hunt’s Mills
On Sunday, June 14, from 9 am to 4 pm, the 13 Continental Regiment will be presenting a Revolutionary War encampment
and demonstrations at Hunt’s Mills. The 13 Continental Regiment, based in Rehoboth, MA, puts on demonstrations that
recreate the lifestyles, clothing, equipment, drill, battle scenarios, and encampment of the men, women, and children of the
original 1774 company. Their goal is to provide an educational resource to the public and to further the understanding of the
early portion of the American War for Independence.
The encampment will be located at the front of the Hunt’s Mills property with demonstrations of 18 century crafts and skills.
Timothy Walker’s 22 Massachusetts Regiment will be drilling and firing 18 century musket at various times throughout the
day.
Also, the John Hunt Museum and Education Center will be open from 1 to 3:30 for tours and exhibit viewing. Be sure to join
