The Vet Center Art Group was established in 2015. Resident artist, Arsen, from the Providence Art Club joins us every Thursday from 830am – 11am. The group is informal and veterans can create art using acrylic paint, graphite, or various means to bring their ideas to life. With the help of Arsen, he shows veterans fine artistic skills such as shading, horizon lines, scaling, and more. This allows veterans to create their masterpieces. During this time when the magic happens. Veterans report a calming factor and emotional processing from their art journey and take it with them into their daily life.
