Dedication of the Lt. Gov. Daniel Owen Monument

Glocester resident Daniel Owen was president of the convention that adopted the United States Constitution thus admitting Rhode Island into the union as the 13th state. He publicly strove to have the Constitution amended to guarantee the rights of the people which led to the Bill of Rights.
