Step into the story behind the nation’s founding through film and hands-on history. In this interactive program, participants will watch selected clips from Ken Burns’ The American Revolution, using the documentary’s rich storytelling to set the historical stage. Afterward, attendees will contribute directly to preserving American history by digitally transcribing original documents through the Library of Congress’s By the People crowdsourcing project.

Transcription experience is not necessary but participants should be proficient in typing and general computer use. Registration is required.
