From the Rhode Island Campaign and the Battle of Rhode Island to the first coordinated Franco-American military operation in August 1778, the presentation highlights the colony’s strategic importance. Attendees will also hear about influential figures such as Nathanael Greene, who rose from Rhode Island roots to become one of George Washington’s most capable and trusted generals.
