Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention (Military Service Connections)
Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention is a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide and how to keep themselves and others safe.
During this session, we will focus on how this leading cause of death affects those connected to military service differently than the general population. This session is recommended for anyone who has served or is currently serving in the military, their family members, or supportive community members.
