Property Tax Exemptions

Program Description

RI General Law 44-3-4 gives property tax exemptions for veterans and widow(er)s of veterans. RI General Law 44-3-5 gives property tax exemptions for Gold Star parents.

Eligibility

Other than dishonorable discharge.
Service during wartime for WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After Vietnam, service in a recognized conflict. Most qualified conflicts are listed on the back of each tax bill and the complete list is given in RI General Laws 44-3-4 and 44-3-4.2.
