RING Employment Transition

Program Description

Employment Transition Coordinators help service members transition back into the civilian work sector. They provide employment services, improving job-hunting skills and providing connections to employers. Employment Transition Coordinators work in conjunction with the Hero2Hired (H2H) initiative and its H2H.jobs website. They also work with employers to help them develop and expand military hiring initiatives.

Services

• Resume-building.
• Job-hunting.
• Networking.
• Career exploration tools.
• Military-to-civilian skills translations.
• Services are provided both in person and online, via the Employment Transition Coordinator and the H2H website.

Eligibility

• Although the H2H program was designed for unemployed Reserve Component members, employment services are available to service members and veterans of all branches and eras.
