Program Description

VA helps Servicemembers, Veterans, and eligible surviving spouses become homeowners. VA Home Loans are provided by private lenders, such as banks and mortgage companies. VA guarantees a portion of the loan, enabling the lender to provide borrowers with more favorable terms.

Eligibility

• Other than dishonorable discharge.
• Suitable credit, sufficient income, and a valid Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
• Full eligibility criteria are defined on the VA website.

How To Apply

• Eligible service members, veterans, and spouses should obtain a Certificate of Eligibility. The COE verifies to the lender that you qualify for a VA-backed loan.
