Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America Program Description The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America serves youth ages 5-20 in Rhode Island and the South Coast of Massachusetts with scouting programs. Every year our Scouts provide over 80,000 hours of community service to the local community, including programs and services that benefit our Veteran community. These projects include placing flags at the RI State Veterans Cemetery in Exeter each Memorial Day, Eagle Scout and other service projects at local VFWs and American Legions and more. About Us The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America provides an educational, character and citizenship building program to more than 5,000 youth in Southeastern New England. Eligibility An organization providing services to veterans that is need of help from the local Scouting community should reach out to us and we can connect you with the right people in the district or local Scouting units that can help best to organize these efforts. In addition many active duty and retired military families call Rhode Island home and if those families have youth that would like to get involved in Scouting programs we would love to welcome them and assist them in finding the right unit for their family.
