Veterans Services Highlights Mental Health Awareness During Live Event

 

What:

Join Governor Dan McKee, Veterans Services Director Kasim Yarn, leading mental health advocates, and Veteran entrepreneurs from across Rhode Island and the nation for a powerful virtual event in recognition of Mental Health Action Day on Thursday, May 14, at 11:00 AM.

 

This important conversation, hosted by Director Yarn, will spotlight the urgent need to turn mental health awareness into meaningful action — breaking stigma, expanding support, and uplifting the voices of Veterans, advocates, and changemakers who are driving real impact in their communities.

 

Mental Health Action Day is a national movement dedicated to inspiring people to take action for mental well-being through connection, advocacy, and community support.
